This is more than a seasonal drop. Essentially, it's pt 2 of a correction begun in March. The Fed is dropping us to a slower growth channel and hoping to do so without killing the mkt.

If you guys'll check back later, by about 8 pm I ought to have a chart link up that (I think) defines it.

In the meantime, I hope you folks are mostly cash because tomorrow will not be boring....
