No. In an effort to win the browser wars Microsoft is
giving away IE. In fact, in the next round of operating
system releases the internet explorer will become
an integrated component of the O.S. I chose to base
my application on Microsoft standards because of
this.

While we're on the subject I'd like to make one
thing clear. WSX requires DLL's used by IE, however,
it does not require the user to adopt IE as their default
browser. I would love to distribute only the DLLs
actually required by WSX, however, this would be
breaking the MS license agreement which states
that IE must be downloaded in its complete form
i.e. all 5 megs, even if you only want to use 1% of
the binaries. Yes, it sucks, but they make the rules...
