The smokers who get lung cancer were not forced by the tobacco companies to smoke. Yes tobacco is adictive but it is possible to break the addiction and it is also possible to choose to never smoke. Smokers are responsible for their own illness. You might have a weak case for those who became addicted before the federal government mandated warnings but if its ok to sue in that case then maybe the federal government should be sued. It subsidized tobacco and gave cigerettes to soldiers.

Tim,

My god...were you ever a kid? Kids can't die..they don't have to worry about warnings. Once they are addicted, its too late.

May they sue tobacco companies until every last one is out of business.
