Well, that IS an explanation of sorts!!

I do think that it's accepted unquestioningly by many that the government has a right to as much money as it deems necessary. And this is troubling.
No one seems to think it means a thing that the top 5% pays such an enormous portion of the tax burden. I was startled to read of the three tier tax burden theory here. That comes too close to "From each to each" for me and I don't know where this finds justification in our history.
I don't mind Patricia having different beliefs but accuracy would be a good thing from us all in this sea of insults and twisted facts!
