I'm trying to think back to Oct 98, if I recall some stocks stayed flat or even slightly rose during the month, those were aol, yhoo, amzn - the internets, and it was a change of leadership we saw in that month, Dell (who was the prior stock leader) started to slow his growth a little and big software like Sap fell apart after that.

I'm wondering if thats going to happen this time... looking at ntap it is actually significantly higher than July 30th (what I'm pegging as the start of this recent negativity)... maybe there are others - the strong b2b's for example. Maybe yahoo is like Dell last time around?
