It's looking more and more likely that Rambus will be shutting its doors sometime in 2001 - I think Rambus is finished. What's Rambus stock worth if its IP is invalidated? There should be some cash on hand, prepaid rents, office furniture, and other odds
and ends, isn't there? Does 10 cents a share sound about right?


If Rambus' patenets are invalidated in terms of SDRAM, and DDR then they would still have some value from the RDRAM patents. I also think they may have some other marginally valueable IP, so even if RDRAM never takes off (or their patent on it is invalidated) they would probably be worth a bit more then 10cent/share.
