Anybody here know of the exact locations of any SNDK manufacturing facilities in Israel and any risk of disruption from unrest? OT - On Arafat as a negotiator. It is my guess he would like to be reasonable, but due to the uncompromising nature of the demands of both sides, he is probably finding he has to take a harder line than he would like - to avoid accusations of being a traitor/collaborator. Both groups of people have a valid claim to the disputed land. Although there may have been unfair land acquisitions in the past, show me a part of the world where this is not the case, and how do you justify moving people born and raised in an area, even if other people were previously moved before many of the current inhabitants were born? Maybe a snapshot of where the boundaries were half an average lifetime ago should be used to redefine the borders of Israel in an attempt at a reasonable compromise. This would allow some displaced Arabs to return home without moving an undue number of Israelis. I don't subscribe to the theory that the sons should be paying for the sins of the fathers, but being British, I would say that.
