How does a person like you get so deeply committed to an agenda Pat? During my years as a worker ( vs working for myself) I took it "in the shorts" everytime the Republicans had control of the WHitehouse.I watched as my wages were frozen and the top brass gave themselves a title change to circumvent the laws. I watched as Ronald Reagan stopped helping the mentally ill ( kind of ironic that he is dying from a mental illness..isn't it? ) The mentally ill are now on the streets of our cities living as homeless people and jeopardizing everyone's health. I also grew up in Rockefellar's New York. There, it was impossible to get a state job unless you were a registered Republican. Many, many other reasons as well make me a Democrat. My disgust for the Christian Coalition is another.
