True Sharck....people don't like to let their money sit around for too long doing nothing.

Here's another perspective though....you know how people are saying that with all this selling there is a lot of money on the sidelines just waiting around? I don't buy it. Most of the excesses in the market has been nothing but paper profit, and we are now seeing that profit erode away. Without capitulation, people aren't selling...instead they are watching their profits disappear in hopes of a bounce.

Also, think of this....remember when INTC warned and trading was halted. The moment it opened it gapped down about 10 points. At 6.7 billion shares outstanding, that's 67 Billion dollars that never got taken out to put to work. 67 billion dollars...gone...vanished.
