Kurt, This is old news, but I just came across it today. Its dated June 20, 1996, PR NEWS WIRE. The article states that the Diasensor 1000 production model provided consistent, accurate readings on 66% of the tested patients (2 out of 3 tested) and gave readings 85% of the time. Comparatively, the research model (Beta) noninvasive sensor provided consistent, accurate readings on 35% of the patients and gave readings 50% of the time. The article also stated a significant improvement in the accuracy of the glucose measurement readings and that the Diasensor demonstrated increased speed of data collection. What took six hours to collect with the (beta) device now takes just 15 minutes.------ Hey, this is an over all dramatic improvement! Sounds like to me they could really be expecting FDA approval this time considering the agreement with Hallmark/Tassone. Lets hope so!!!
