TG:

If this was in isolation and PALM specific it would be significant. In the present environment, it's not. When the tech market recovers, PALM should go with them.

Today and maybe tomorrow we should see the final "puke" that many TA types have been waiting for. There's a growing pile of institutional and individual investor cash sitting out there, and all the selling has only added to the pile. There isn't any place for most of it to go except back into tech, and most of the big fund managers are underwater for the year, so they'll have to do something if they want to take home their accustomed fat year end bonuses.

Although most of my tech positions - except notably PALM, COMS, QCOM, SUNW, EMC and ADBE - are underwater for the year to some degree (a few to a high degree!), I'm sitting tight here. I expect most of these positions to be 20%-30% back in the black by year end.

JMO.
