<<But you don't buy companies that are screwing up on, on dips or no dips. >>

Jill, I hear ya.....I wouldnt have touched LU with a ten foot pole after the first warning. But look around. Look at all the many, many companies that have GOOD things to say that are getting creamed. I dont mean a nice 15% buying dip. I mean, companies that have nothing but good things going on and good things in store that are down 50 - 90% this year. That was mainly my point. This LU warning bodes well for nortel, jdsu and etc.....well, do we buy jdsu because of it ? How much is it down the last month or 2? How much lower could it go??? Believe me, part of lokks at jdsu in the $80's and wants to bet the farm. The other part of me has no idea if jdsu is going to $25.....and don't laugh because it could happen. Nothing is safe in this market and there are many, many examples to prove it. I had some serious low ball offers in from a couple weeks ago....really had doubts whether I would get any. Looks like I may get quite a bit today, and frankly, I am not so sure I wish to be buying more right now. I was trying to average down on my intc jan50 calls and my jdsu march 1000 calls, but the drop rmbs has had has really hurt my equity situation and I dont think buying right now is the prudent thing to do.
