Yes... that has been the desire for some time... and considering they are currently trading at .20/share, it would seem to be the case.
In fact, Keith Goodyer, former MSU engineer, left the company and went to WOWW, where he had the concept for an integrated email capable chip that could be placed in each television set. It didn't have browser capability at the time, as I recall, but it was dirt cheap and would reside on the existing chip board of the TV...
I recall telling him that, without browsing capability similiar to MSU's ISP, it would be a very limited market...
I wish Goodyer would come back to work for the company. He had a lot of great ideas on how to market and engineer the box. Putting the chipset directly into the TV was one of them, as well as setting up a series of upgradable software add-ons, gaming functionality that they could utilize to generate additional revenues.
Too bad he just got fed up with Holloway and bailed out....
But to simply answer your question, that would seem to be the natural progression for our architecture, unless HDTV interferes with that option (which I don't in the short term).
