Genl Magic Buys Assets Of Conterra Software
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (Dow Jones)--General Magic Inc. (GMGC) purchased
substantially all of the assets of Conterra Software Inc., a developer of Microsoft NT
Internet/Intranet applications based in Columbia, S.C.
Financial terms were not immediately available.
In a press release, General Magic said Conterra designs applications in areas such as
electronic commerce systems for supply chain management, agent-based systems for
public safety applications and health care solutions.
General Magic said the acquisition will help its efforts to develop Internet products.
General Magic Inc., Sunnyvale, provides Internet software for business professionals,
developers, device manufacturers, service providers and enterprises. |
