OX,

You are turning this discussion into if this is a bear market or not. If you reread my post that was not the point I was making.

The overbullish analyst has help many actually lose money, and keep in mind that many only started trading recently within the last few years so many did not benefit from the really low prices.

The difference is that the PERMA BEARS did NOT, repeat NOT, lose money, they just did not make money. But now people are actually LOSING MONEY. There is a difference between losing money and losing the opportunity, which is the main point. Another way to look at it is to compare PERMA BULLS with PERMA BEARS directly is not the best way. ONE of them can make one actually LOSE money, where the other one keeps one out of the market. So for those who followed PERMA BEARS in the past, they spent their money buying cars, going out to dinner. THEY did NOT LOSE MONEY, they still had money to spend.
