That's just a stupid statement. If SS is a necessity for MOST seniors it tells me that they didn't do a very good job of managing their own money. What's the worst employment been for the last 40 years, something like 91%? Why should government be responsible for a senior who during their youth bought boats, lavish houses, and spent the majority of their earning years in debt? No where in the constitution is that written. A system that forces part of their SS into a self directed account just might teach some of YOU yahoo's, unwilling to take responsibility for your own action, something NEW: RESPONSIBILITY.
