"this is a new machine and only has about one hours worth of use on it" wow. i must have missed that part! there should be no messing around.... call the manufacturer right away. or carry it back to the store you purchased it at. the things i noted are still valid, but the fact that the machine is so new really does dictate that you hand this problem right back to them. :) mark
