I also did some buying of GLW calls this morning when it was around 81 to 82 but plan to hold longer betting that the good company earnings reports are around the corner--AMCC today and JNPR tomorrow. If we close positive, I think it could also prompt analyst activity on beaten down tech sectors like Semi-conductors etc. No analyst wants to upgrade when the market is tanking--but when it pauses, we could get lots. BTW--I did notice bullish comments on NT, GLW and JDSU this morning (on CNBC) coming from analysts.
