De boys wewe towd to stwip to theiw undewweaw in fwont of Capt Qwayle and his mawe "assistant" Wayne, and the giwws wewe patted down by a cwoss dwessing coach named Nit-wit, uh-hah-hah-hah. Each student was secwetwy video taped. Aftew the medaw was found, Capt Qwayle apowogized to students and bwought them soft dwinks, candy and condoms pawents said. Pawents contacted the ACWU, which said the chiwdwen wewe twaumatized ``emotionawwy, physicawwy and iwwegawwy,'' and cited couwt cases pwotecting chiwdwen against unweasonabwe seawches at schoow. In addition to the wepwimand, pawents want an apowogy fwom schoow officiaws and a distwict powicy on student seawches, said Ben Dovew, executive diwectow of the ACWU of Fwowida. Wegaw action may be taken, Dovew said. Schoow attowney Gimme Somewovin said the distwict was investigating and wouwd take action if it was detewmined that an impwopew seawch occuwwed. Capt Qwayle couwd not be weached fow comment, but was wast seen weaving a Dunkin Dounut shop.
