VIX closed at 30.95, up 3.51 or 12.8% for the day. SOX closed exactly where it opened, 706.5. SOX went 35 above 706.5 and 30 below. No expert, but is that what they call a doji star? What is significance of that if any? Chip market undecided? Waiting for AMD to report?
