Buffet and Gates are losers. You hide behind what some big guy does. You think big makes right. Buffet has been such a dismal failure over the last two years that it's a joke that you are extolling his investment acumen. I don't know who's dumber. If Gates puts 1/1000 of 1% of his wealth in silver, that's like you putting $.01 in it. So what?

You must have seen what I wrote on this thread about the ABX chart. It's worse than most charts including dotcoms. I've been reading charts for 35 years and the entire long term chart of ABX is precariously tilting. So what grabs you is speculation in Franco Nevada? Well, I could imagine ABX wanting to buy them, but the question is, why chase worse than pies in the sky? Worse!

The reason is that you have a political statement to make about VALUE, and yet you, like all the 'Bugs, have no idea what value is. You think it is something that sits. It isn't. It's something that makes something happen constructively in the future. This is independent of what time it is.

PMs are associated with the past, not the future. Investing in them is an attempt to cling to something, anything, when things fall to pieces. We are nowhere near that environment. We started to go into it in '98 but it never developed. To succeed in investment you can't be motivated by prejudice especially those that are built on greed.

There's hope. Silver is putting in some higher lows, rising bottoms. Maybe NEM will get ambitious based on rising silver price and buy this company.
