Thanks for that info. Including the extra 20% SNDK's loss is only $124.9 million, again assuming no sales in the past quarter. In fact it is probly more because they have been including subsequent unrealised gains as income. I don't know how they got away with that though.

edit, according to the August 10Q, SNDK has already recorded an unrealised gain of $36.6 million from the stock dividend, and an unrealised loss of $35.6 million from appreciation in UMC stock price. So it will still be a loss of $171+ million that has to be recorded in next week's earnings number. That will easily wipe out any operating profits. SNDK should get slapped wrists for recording these unrealised gains as income IMHO.
