I am adding Norris Communications to the list of MC Core
Stocks today. There have been a number of favorable
developments over the past several months which I think make
this stock attractive at the present price of 1.44/1.50. The
latest was the announcement on 6-12-96 that Centennial Tech
(AMEX:CTN) will market and sell the Norris Flash Operating
System loaded on CTN Flash PC Cards.
The Norris Flash O/S System-and its availiabilty now to
the various applications that require flash cards-is the key
here. Will write more about this tonite. Latest report I
have shows 15m shares out after a $3m funding this past

As mentioned in prior note I have added Norris Comm to the
MC Core Stock list today. NORRF trades NASDAQ and closed the
day at 1.47 down .03 on 370,000. 52W h/l is 3.00/.88.
There have been a number of positive announcements out of
NORRF lately beginning this past March with the announcement
that the U S Patent Office had recently granted the first in
a series of patents protecting the company's hand held
digital recorder tech and its applications. This was the
intro to the Norris 'FLASH OS'-Flash Operating System. Years
of R&D have gone into uniting Flash memory and multimedia
applications and Norris is now actively licensing the
system. The agreement last week w/Centennial Tech on the
AMEX was the latest in a series of developments that I feel
bode well for the future of the company. They finished a
$3m dollar funding this past spring and also announced the
spin-off of their manufacturing division-a move which should
broaden that division's reach. The NORRF web site is

Thanks for your report on a company with some very
interesting technology.
A question: In a press release dated 2/15/96 the company
stated that it did not expect to become profitable until the
end of calendar 1997. Normally in my experience companies
tend to err on the side of optimism in these sorts of
projections; it's more likely to be later rather than
sooner. However, in this case, with developments that have
taken place since February, perhaps profitability can be
achieved earlier. Is this the case, in your opinion? If
not, how concerned are you about investing in a company that
will be losing money for the next year or two?

Byron-I have not seen any change from that info in the Feb
release-and since then the launch of their FLASH O/S system
and the $3m in the till along w/some other developments make
the stock less of a risk then when the Feb release came
out-if they announce more agreements re their FLASH O/S
system it should enhance the company's position in what is
now a new tech field. I see a good shot at upside potential
and at this price not a lot of downside risk. Get the
company's pkg first and take a look at the tech. Gary
