Does anyone know how Tandem is marketing their ServerNet switches? From what I can tell ServerNet requires a switch that controls the network traffic between the various nodes in the LAN. They talk about "licensing" the ServerNet technology to other companies, but is this the technology that allows a node to work with the serverNet switch, or is it for the switch itself, or both? The basic question: Regarding ServerNet, does Tandem have an exclusive on any particular piece of hardware, or do they expect all of their revenue to come from licensing the technology to other hardware vendors?
