I agree with you 100% and I hope it happens. But I wonder why Q didn't just sell off the chip division rather than going the IPO route. Perhaps I can answer my own question. By doing it the IPO way, at worst they end up with a spin-off and at best they end up with an "auction" to the highest bidder.
