FWIW i spent about 6 months last year trying to straighten out the books of the credit union i used to manage. I eventually had to redo every month since i had quit 2 years ago. I don't know how analogous that situation really is but i was amazed at the extent of the mess i found and how it had propagated through time.

What does make sense to me from having had that experience is why management would be very reluctant to release any financials (such as the June numbers) until everything from a prior period had been fixed. All numbers remain "tainted" from the original date of misstatement until the problems are corrected and brought forward.

Once the numbers are fixed it wouldn't surprise me if the company is taken out fairly quickly. If indeed, business is still good then a company that would seem to need most a top management team & new board members may look very attractive to a larger player looking to add value at an attractive price discount. The Board should be looking at all options and though CH. 11 may well be one of them.

It should be noted that this is all my opinion only and that since i own this stock the value of my opinion is open to serious question.

Bosco, i hope your portfolio recovers.
