I've been spending a lot of time in SF (and Palo Alto). Last night Sugar Magnolia and I drank big things of Red Nectar and shot 6 or 7 games of 8-Ball in a bar thick with .com ers. The neighborhood isn't constricting. Rents aren't going down. Houses get bid up 25% and more from the asking price. --- Cars pulse on Hwy 280. They crawl on Hwy 101. In Palo Alto, apartments can't get built fast enough. --- I have several dot com friends. Hope springs eternal for the future (and future options values). -JCJ
