there's always a silver lining, right?

It is a "plus" to off-set a possible "negative"...but right now IMO the "final direction" of this market for the rest of the year is still not decided. Several stocks showing a recent loss in value, can very quickly become positive once again. IMO we are coming into a period where the possibility of some positive earnings statements will soon be released. (Look at the recent release from GLW). I also think the fact that we are headed into the election will have a tremendous effect on the market. I heard someone report today that if we have a "down market" going into the election, the chance of Bush winning is significantly increased. I would think that there should be tremendous pressure from both the Republicans and the Democrats to try to "direct" this market to the best of their ability.

I was away from a computer most of the day. I played in a competitive tennis match...we split sets, and as everyone else went for a "food or water break" before the third set...I pulled out my Palm VII and checked on the market. (sick, sick....I know!!! <g>) I looked at recent business news, and specific stock quotes. Later in the day while waiting for an appointment, I checked my email and read several messages from SI. I enjoy having the ability to use a wireless product. I still feel very strongly that this is a growth area...and an area that will rapidly develop due to customer demand. Wireless and wireless related stocks IMO are due for a rebound!
