Hi Colin,

I started trading NQ00Z futures and wonder if there is a correct way to record these transactions for the sch D.

I do not have a futures option in my current MS Money '98, I wonder if MS money2000 does?

also my broker simply gives me this type of information on trades

1 3100, -1 3150 net +990.10

in futures each pt is worth 20.00 so 50 x 20 is 1000. minus round trip commission is 9.90

the only way I've figured out how to record trades in MS Money is this way:

buy 20 at 3100, sell 20 at 3150....but doing this it incorrectly gives the proceed costs and purchase amounts.

a single contract is always 6775 not 65K, but this is the only way I've figured to get the proper profit/loss recorded?

any suggestions. I'm currently keeping these transactions in a separate ledger.

TIA,

Jeff
