Why? Prochoice is something the government needs to protect from violent people with minority views. No prochoice folks are picketing homes for pregnant teens- shouting nasty things at them, or trying to prevent them from getting inside.

I am glad the government is there to protect those women. I don't mind the government taxing (you CAN call it stealing, but legally that is not what it is)- I like our national parks, our roads, the regulation of food, and consumer products, as well as the standards set for all manner of other products- like medical products for instance. I know a bit about the regulation in that area and it's a good thing. Could it be better? Sure, nothing is perfect.

I'm very glad we have the center for disease control, and I like our space program- I only wish we spent more on it. Our public colleges, which receive federal money, are so good that people from all over the world come to be educated here. I like so many things government does I don't have the time to list everything I like.

Prochoice for women's reproductive rights (which the Supreme Court - another organ of governemnt)doesn't mean prochoice on everything. I'm not for letting people opt out of the tax system. Selectric wants me to leave the country because I THINK differently from him about history! I could say I think people ought to leave if they don't want to pay for all the benefits they recieve- for even if you don't realize all the good government does, you are taking advantage of it anyway merely by living here.

I would like to see the government "protect" more land in the west- from nasty developers, and ranchers, who ruin the ecosystems with their stupid cattle we shouldn't be eating anyway.
