Whoa.

This is a major technical breakthrough with profound implications.

The smaller the channel spacing, the more channels that can be carried on a single fiber, while minimizing crosstalk, and optical dispersion errors.

So, Ciena again beats Bell Labs at their own game. Sixteen terabits? That is over a ten fold increase in fiber capacity a single year!

Ciena continues to be the technology leader.

What a coup.

Now, where do I find the funds to buy more?
