I tried the Canyons, Brighten (at night), and one other whose name I forgot. I used downtown SLC as my hub (much cheaper too) and went from there. I was actually in SLC on a business trip, but no such luck next time. I was there during the Film Festival, that was very interesting to see. Have you looked at the condo timeshares they're building at Canyons? The guy who showed me around is still calling me, they were pretty nice.
