stribe30... OK! Right now RAMBUS +1 1/8. AMD -1 1/8.
"If AMD continues to do what they've been doing.. the company will do just fine."

Richard.. I have said before that how a company does in stock prices on Wall Street doesnt always reflect how well a company is doing. AMD is the classic example of this. Your logic of AMD dropping in share price - therefore its about to tank as a company- is the same logic you employed when you told me looking at Micron's message thread and seeing all the negative messages there (most posted by RAMBUS boosters I might add) showed that Micron was in trouble - and they promptly went out and posted a nice profit for the qtr. AMD's stock has dropped this year.. no doubt about it.. but look at profits for the 3 qtrs this year, and get back to me whether AMD is doing poorly. My aquaintance JC from JC's Semiconductor News predicted earlier this year that AMD would make money every qtr this yr regardless of what certain analysts thought of it.... he's 3 for 3 so far.. and I'm pretty confident he'll be 4 for 4 after this next qtr.

As well.. you've got a rather selective memory to be quoting me what the AMD stock price vs the Rambus stock price is today.. -- when last time I looked, last week Rambus dropped about 14-18$ in value of its stock price in only 2 days worth of trading.. A rather convenient omission for you.

EDIT: As Tejek has said.. RMBS is in the 60$ area when it was at 87 a mere week ago... You were curiously absent from this thread then.
