V Wal-Mart Announces Major Expansion

Wal-Mart Stores, the world's largest retailer, recently announced plans
to open more than 300 stores across the globe next year.

As part of its massive expansion, Wal-Mart will open about 40 new
discount stores and approximately 170 new Supercenters, which combine a
traditional Wal-Mart store with grocery operations, in the United
States. Wal-Mart International, meanwhile, will open an additional 100
to 110 stores in Britain, Mexico and Canada over the next three to five
years.
