Just spoke to Nancy M. Q/IR: She said absolutely no news to affect the stock price yesterday...Said that they have not commented on Q4 earnings outlook(Nov.2 report date) since the Q3 Conference Call. Also says that despite all the conflicting reports we hear about China being on/off/on, etc. that they have maintained course and are executing on their strategy as planned as they have all along. Thinks the stock price movement is just due to the volatility of the stock and the market conditions.. In regards to the ADVC "Q killer" thing she heard something about it, but obviously they are basically laughing it off and it wasn't worth discussing. In regards to SpinCo: No date has been set yet, they are working very hard to prepare for the spin-off but their is a great deal to plan for when you are basically creating another company. She also mentioned the new link on their IR web page that will provide all licensees to date which is very good. qualcomm.com Other than that all seems good and very busy at Q, they remain insistant that they are executing well on a daily basis..
