I have been wrong about the bottom every time - except maybe twice. Big deal. I didn't always get the lowest price - but after a year or two, the appreciation of the stock has made that "miss" very, very insignificant. Re: "we all feel your pain, maybe not as much as someone who's likely lost over half their net worth in 6 weeks (on paper)...but the bear catches all who dare invest in stocks from time to time." If you pick Intel's recent all time high, yes, my "net" is down about 1/2 from there. On the other hand - I like to compare my "net" to what it was many years ago - and it's UP A WHOLE HELLUVA LOT !
