Israeli's rocket attacked Arafat's residence... Nothing like a missle in your front yard to get your attention...I think they are ready to take Arafat out....who knows; maybe this will create an American occupying force in the ME by design ? Maybe the CIA knows Saddam is about to throw the Oil markets into a crisis - mine the harbors, shut off his oil, mass troops; cross the border... remember; we do NOT have the same ability to respond as we did in the Gulf War - we couldn't even scramble "flyable" Blackhawks in Kosovo... Saddam can cross the border & hit & run; before we can do much. This has the "feel" of something big & extended to it... PS - think Clinton/Gore may be thinking about the US - "not switching captains - midstream; in a war" ? US troops on ME soil - means Gore gets the election. ... never doubt anything they could/would do.
