Previous work established hole 96-11with 3.66 metres 12'-0" running 0.693 oz/t almost midway between 97-05 and 97-06 and some 12 metres (39'-4") to the south. These data show the high grade gold values are to be found over a strike length of 80 metres (262'), which is open in both directions, some 170 metres (560') down dip from the 60 metre (197') long high grade trench to the north. Holes 97-07 and 97-08 were drilled 500 metres to the south of hole 97-03 in zone 1. Holes 97-09 and 97-10 are being drilled in zone V and holes 97-11& 97-12 are slated for zone X where a previous trench sample returned 0.18 oz/t 2.3km southeast of zone V. Mineralization encountered in zone 1 opens up a new area for low grade mineralization and also has the potential for high grade shoots similar to zone V. At Watson Bar the cores from drilling are logged, photographed and split lengthwise to yield samples of half core for assays. The remaining half cores are set aside in core boxes, labelled and stored on site. The split core is sent for assay identified by a sample tag and clear instructions to the assayer. Management has visited the Min-En laboratory to see the work in progress: in every way it conforms to the highest standards which are the norm at reputable Canadian commercial assay facilities where assay pulps and crushed rejects are retained. Check assays on random samples is an integral part of the overall system of control and verification of important exploration samples. INDONESIA Brey Property Results received from the initial fieldwork at the Brey property in Kalimantan are negative. No further work is planned for this project which is a joint venture between Stirrup Creek and its partner Forefront Ventures. Timur Property Following up on the first phase gold anomalies, second phase exploration on the Timur property, in Kalimantan, has been completed with results expected in two to three weeks.
