Wait a bit, IMVHO. CAPT Tony just talked me out of swooping into an Index Fund today. Major problems in the Middle East, oil prices skyrocketing, Euro in the dumpster, pending US elections, etc., etc. What's the rush? I figure that at worst I can buy stuff on the trek back up - so what if I miss the bottom...maybe a week or a month from now, after some of the uncertainty clears the market. Anyway -- today was pretty bizarre. Reminds me of 1998 when we had the Russia crisis and the Dow lost 500 or so. Hope folks are hanging in there... rk
