Dear Daniel: "pedantic, " HEY, watch the big words...or I'll turn you in!! (gg) Look, everyone would like to have a nice clean environment but one has to be reasonable about it. For instance, from what I hear many other countries, particularly China and Japan are HORRIBLE compared to us...yet..Clinton was ABOUT to let them off the hook on that conservation bill (dont recall the name) which the Senate REJECTED 99:1. Its hard enough for Americans to compete with cheap foreign labor and all without tieing their hands unilaterly. I dont know the solutions, but I know things are better now then they were in my youth. I started my career in Pittsburg in 1967..it was a real hell hole then. I visited back there a few years ago and it was pretty nice. Thats improvement and its all in my lifetime. JDN
