Pierre: The FDCN feed was made to work with DTrader and InternetTrader, before WOW.Com existed. They should continue to support the software and its users. However, I know they no longer sale the software.

I tried the FDCN feed when it first came out and there were many problems with it. Just a couple were it provided "actual" Dow Index data and the data CDs had theoretical data. Next, initially the histories were limited to a year or two as I remember for daily charts and no more than two or three days of intraday data. In addition, it kept filling in the holidays with the previous trading day's data.

I experienced a number of problems with the DT software as I use most of its extensive capabilities. I was always told by customer service/sales that I was the only one complaining and that my concerns were on the back burner. One of the sales reps hung up on me.

The bottom line, I am glad Omega bought them are WOW would be a dead company about now. I did download the latest update for DT7 and the few improvements are nice. However, it still has its problems.

I use it primarily for "end of day" charting analysis and scanning. I don't use the FDCN with DT7. I do however use WOW.Com as a backup intraday data service. The price is competitive, but the intraday data histories are barely enough to get by in a pinch, hardly enough to thoroughly analyze a stock, index or futures contract.

I just recently talked with a service rep with WOW.Com and she seemed willing to be helpful. However, I ended up solving the problem myself later. I called her back and told her the fix.

Qcharts/Qfeed has the potential to be a great product if they can just get the Qfeed side on par with the software side.

Regards,
LG
