Mr.Bush: "We know freedom is a powerful force, much bigger than the United States of America." (from the debates) Now that shows a humility for government, in the face of ideas and is the kind of "vision" conservative voters are looking for. I would criticize Bush for not saying hate-crime laws are wrong because they seek to punish thoughts and that only actions should be punished. He makes a comment on the subject of civil rights pointing out that a good education for everyone is a civil right. A politically astute viewpoint.
