They are mature adults. They know any hate crimes bill is not targeted at "them." They know persons of any backgroud could be a bigoted criminal perpetrator of hate crimes. Perhaps the people your referring to are not mature adults. If so, I am not concerned about their "feelings." >>>I am bothered by the fact that the laws punish people for their thoughts and attitudes.<<< This is fast becoming a ridiculous claim. Actions and actions only trigger consequences under Hate Crimes laws. The thought police are not out administering lie-detector tests. Get real.
