Remember - If Intel is near-simultaneously introducing 900 MHz XEON Server CPUs, 1.4 GHz Foster Server CPUs and 64 bit ITanium Server CPUs, the key server companies - IBM, Compaq, Dell, HP, Gateway, NEC, Hitachi, FujitsuSiemens, VALInux, etc. are going to have their HANDS FULL designing, building, testing and validating these new INTEL PLATFORMS.
AMD will be given short shrift since every thing they bring to the Server market will be 100% UNTESTED and UNPROVEN.
Ergo, since AMD's product will offer the highest risk, it will receive the lowest priority from the Server manufacturers.
