I take your point that when the market really gets spooked, strong fundamentals won't even slow the tide of selling. But, the fundamentals are still why many of us will put money into a stock, and for a buyer, you can't hope for a better situation than to have the market throwing away a stock that you know and believe in. (Assuming one is correct in his assessment of the fundamentals, of course. That's the tricky bit, no?)

Its no fun watching the blood flow in MTSN or any of my other holdings, and obviously I wish I'd sold most everything in this sector some time ago. But, here we are, and if the market wants to hand me the opportunity to buy good stocks at low prices, then I welcome it. The lower the better! The question is, how low is low enough?

On another subject Phil, how does a TA fellow like yourself adjust his TA metrics to account for the impact of the planned merger on the stock? That is to say, comparing pre- and post- merger announcement numbers are not really comparing apples to apples, is it? Do you put the same degree of faith in support levels and the like when this sort of issue is in play? An honest question from a curious and hopefully open-minded non-believer.

Thanks.

Andy
