Blake, My favorite laugh: "Therefore it seems a pretty safe guess that 'Almador' will support DDR-SDRAM as well!!" ROTFLMAO!!!

You sure are getting feisty. <VBG>
I find it interesting that Intel lists "QuAD Support for Tualatin/Almador Validation System."
(Note the date of 9/20).

isearch.intel.com

Can't access the link, (tried a different entry but got "access denied" ). Also, the roadmap on that page shows Almador support for PIII in 1H'01, which seem's to verify that Almador will support both PIII and the Tualatin version of PIII.
The rumors that Intel has ordered DDRDIMM's from a number of sources for validation of chip sets, combined with the fact that Intel has listed a Tualatin/Almador Validation System, leads me to think Almador will have DDR capability. That doesn't guarantee that DDR will be implemented in Almador production, (Intel certainly has the capability to disable features in silicon), but it appears to support the claim that Intel is evaluating DDR. I also believe they have silicon and mother boards for an evaluation platform.
But, JMHO's
PS, The new tone of your posts makes it sound like you spend too much time over on Yahoo. <G>
