Here is an interesting fact. JP Morgan, Junior and Senior, owned a seat on the NYSE from 1895 to about 1942.

Pierpont never was on the floor and Jack only showed up there once. For a Liberty Bond drive, a World War One event. Stock was really not in the Morgan interests.
