The maximum daily stock buybacks by any listed firm cannot exceed one-third of its total planned buyback of shares, easing from the previous one-fourth restriction, it said. The revision, which will become effective from Monday, was made according to suggestions of listed firms to better show the buyback effect in supporting share prices, it said.
