You deny wackos can get their hands on guns now? Not all of them have records. And in Texas even the ones with records can get concealed gun permits. That's going to take some explaining. And don't blame it on the Feds. Concealed gun permits are a state matter in Texas and pretyy recent. Bush may have been the one to pass that law. You just can't handle the truth. That this is a very dangerous world and not eveery one is a responsible gun owner. Some buy them to kill. And many of those have prior records of mental illness, stalking etc. Whosever fault lack of enforcement is the laws still have to be tightened. Which will actually help the NRA because therebe less tragic shootings by ordinary wackos. Nobody is shocked when a career criminal uses a gun. But they are very shocked when kids or the guy nextdoor goes postal.
