The real early adopters may well be the college professors.
I don't disagree that a "mass market" for them is a long way off, just like the "mass market" for digital cameras is still a way off.

If BN, as you say, views e-books as "competition", and if Crown, Borders and other hard copy sellers do as well, then where does Yuen turn? Amazon? Does this lead Yuen to subsidize distribution by Amazon, and would not such a move be a drag on the stock.

So why did he buy these two in the first place? Does it still make sense.
